NORMAN, Okla. – Auburn rising senior Jovan Rebula was selected as a PING All-American, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced Thursday.
Rebula is an honorable mention honoree and becomes the 30th All-American in program history. After garnering the same recognition last year, the George, South Africa native is the seventh Tiger to be a two-time All-American.
"This is a well-deserved honor for Jovan as he continues to grow as a person and golfer," head coach Nick Clinard said. "It's fantastic to see him rewarded with being named an All-American today. He's an exceptional player that is looking forward to his senior season and competing for more championships."
Rebula touted a team-best 71.34 stroke average per round and was Auburn's top finisher in three tournaments.
He became the fifth golfer in program history to win the Southeastern Conference individual title when he won on a 4-hole playoff.
Rebula produced 15 below-par rounds, including 13 circuits in the 60s, and totaled five top-10 finishes.
Rebula led the Tigers to the NCAA Championship for the eighth consecutive season, something only Auburn, Illinois, Oklahoma and Texas have accomplished.
