AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn equestrian team's path to another NCEA and SEC title has been set as head coach Greg Williams announced the 2019-20 schedule.
Following the annual Orange & Blue Scrimmage (Sept. 13), Auburn continues tradition by kicking off the regular season on the road. The Tigers once again head to UT Martin for a tri-meet, Sept. 19-20, taking on the Skyhawks and Oklahoma State.
Auburn returns to the Plains for its home opener, Oct. 18-19, taking on a trio of teams. The Hunt Seat corps will face Sweet Briar College and SUNY New Paltz, Oct. 18, before the full squad goes against TCU, Oct. 19.
Three of the next four meets are on the road, starting with a Southeastern Conference contest at South Carolina (Oct. 25). After an exhibition vs. Ole Miss at home (Nov. 1), Auburn heads to the state of Texas for a weekend to face a pair of tough opponents. The team opens with a meet at SMU (Nov. 8) before heading to conference foe Texas A&M, Nov. 9.
The Tigers cap the fall season against long-time rival Georgia, Nov. 15, at the Auburn University Equestrian Center.
Spring 2020 opens with a trip out to California as the team travels to UC Davis (Jan. 31) and Fresno State (Feb. 1). Auburn then faces Georgia for the final time in the regular season in Bishop, Ga., Feb. 8.
Auburn returns to the Plains for three-straight meets at the AU Equestrian Center. The Tigers take on Baylor, Feb. 15, before hosting South Carolina on Feb. 29. The regular season comes to a close March 7 as the squad hosts Texas A&M on Senior Day.
The 2020 SEC Championship is set for March 27-28 in Bishop, Ga., and will be hosted by Georgia. The 2020 NCEA Championship will be held once against at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas, April 15-18.
