AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn All-American javelin throwers Cade Antonucci and Kylee Carter will represent the United States as part of the USA Track and Field team at the North American, Central American, & Caribbean (NACAC) U23 Championships, July 6-7, in Queretaro, Mexico. The 10th annual event will be held at the Pista de atletismo del Queretaro 2000 track facility in Queretaro, located 135 miles north of Mexico City.
A rising junior, Antonucci earned honorable mention All-America honors this past outdoor season after finishing 21st at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. A two-time NCAA Outdoors participant, the Mays Landing, N.J., native is the No. 2 performer in Auburn history and a two-time SEC Outdoors scorer.
Carter is coming off a spectacular junior season where she claimed an SEC Championship and was the NCAA Outdoor Championships runner up. The Beauregard, Ala., native won seven meets during 2019 outdoor season, including a second-consecutive Penn Relays title. She also posted nine of the top 10 javelin throws in Auburn history.
Carter will throw on Saturday, July 6 at 5 p.m. CT, while Antonucci will compete on Sunday, July 7 at 9 a.m. Full results can be found at: https://auburntige.rs/NACACResults.
