KENNESAW, Ga. – The 2019 Auburn soccer team opens its exhibition schedule with a contest at Kennesaw State Tuesday. Kickoff at Fifth Third Bank Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
Auburn is 4-0-0 all-time against Kennesaw State and has also defeated the Owls in a trio of exhibition matches in 2005, 2015 and 2018.
The Tigers 2019 roster consists of 24 players, including four seniors, four juniors, eight sophomores and eight freshmen. The team returns 79 percent of its goals, 85 percent of its assists and 81 percent of its points from a season ago.
Following Tuesday's match, Auburn will close out the preseason with an exhibition vs. Mercer at the Auburn Soccer Complex on Friday, Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
The Tigers begin the 2019 regular season with a matchup at South Florida on Thursday, Aug. 22. The team will take on Syracuse in its home opener on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
