AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn soccer team concludes its exhibition schedule with a contest against Mercer Friday evening. Kickoff at the Auburn Soccer Complex is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
The Tigers are coming off a 1-0 win in the team's exhibition opener at Kennesaw State Tuesday night. Jessie Gerow accounted for the scoring in the contest with a goal in the final minute of the second period. Kate Hart and Maggie Van Thullenar split time in goal in the shutout.
Auburn is 6-0-0 all-time against Mercer and has outscored the Bears, 19-3. The two teams have played just once since 2000.
The Tigers begin the 2019 regular season with a matchup at South Florida on Thursday, Aug. 22. The team will take on Syracuse in its home opener on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
