AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn men's tennis team opened up the fall season with a trip to Nashville, TN to compete in the Commodore Scramble. The Tigers had four players compete at the tournament; Diego Chavarria, Matteo DeVincentis, Michael Durham, and Spencer Gray.
DeVincentis won three matches in singles play and Chavarria, Durham, and Gray each had two victories each in singles.
DeVincentis and Chavarria were also successful in doubles play, as the duo won three of their four matches over the weekend. Michael Durham and newcomer Spencer Gray were victorious in one match.
Auburn returns to action this weekend in Columbia, SC to compete in the South Carolina Invitational.
