AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's tennis team was picked to finish sixth in the SEC by a poll of the league's coaches, the conference office announced Wednesday.
 
Auburn was picked to finish where they did last season when the Tigers went 8-5 in league play, 20-11 overall.
 
The Tigers received 110 points in the preseason poll voted on by the women's head coach at each school, based on a 14-13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 vote.
 
Auburn (4-0) opened the 2019 season with four wins at home over the weekend, defeating Alabama A&M, Central Arkansas, and Mercer twice. The Tigers will face No. 25 Kentucky in non-conference action at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Atlanta starting at noon CT Saturday.
