AUBURN, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference has announced the TV schedule for the 2019-20 women's basketball season, and 10 of Auburn's 16 contests will be nationally broadcast on the ESPN family of networks.
The Tigers will have three home games and five road games broadcast in their entirety on SEC Network, ESPN2 or ESPNU, along with two SEC Network "whiparound" dates that will feature coverage from all seven league games. Whiparound coverage will take place on the opening night of league play, Jan. 2, and the final day of the regular season, March 1.
Auburn's home games selected for national broadcast on SEC Network include Arkansas (Jan. 5, 1 p.m.), LSU (Feb. 16, 4 p.m.) and Mississippi State (Feb. 20, 8 p.m.). Road contests on TV will be Jan. 19 at Georgia (1 p.m., ESPNU), Jan. 27 at Kentucky (6 p.m., SEC Network), Feb. 9 at Alabama (2 p.m., SEC Network), Feb. 13 at South Carolina (6 p.m., SEC Network) and Feb. 23 at Texas A&M (3 p.m., ESPN2). All times are Central and subject to change.
All home games and all road SEC games not selected for linear network broadcast will be available on SEC Network +, which can be viewed online via SECSports.com, ESPN.com or on mobile devices via the ESPN app. All home games on SEC Network + will begin at 6 p.m. CT on weeknights and 2 p.m. CT on weekends, with the exception of the Sunday, Nov. 24 game against St. Joseph's, which will start at 7 p.m. CT.
Fans can get their first look at the Tigers at Tip-Off at Toomers, set for Thursday, Oct. 17 in downtown Auburn. The Tigers open the season at home Wednesday, Nov. 6, against Wofford. Auburn will play 13 home games during the 2019-20 season.
