AUBURN, Ala. – Tuesday update:
Tim Dollman fell short of the ITA Southern Regional Championship losing in three sets to Gregor Ramskogler (Mississippi State); 6-2, 4-6, 6-4
Dollman and Michael Durham fell to #5 Joey Thomas/Daniel Moreno (LSU) 6-2, 5-7 in the doubles championship.
Tim Dollman is within one win of earning an automatic bid to the ITA Nationals Fall Championships in Newport Beach, Calif. November 6-10.
Leading up to the finals, Dollman earned seven victories in the ITA Southern Regionals. Dollman started the event in the qualifiers, winning three matches to qualify for the main draw.
Dollman also participated in doubles with partner Michael Durham. Dollman/Durham defeated Tim Sandkaulen/Simon Junk 6-4, 6-4 on Monday to advance to the men's doubles finals.
The duo earned five victories in the men's doubles draw to advance to the finals.
The men's singles final features Tim Dollman (Auburn) vs. Gregor Ramskogler (Mississippi State) will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Yarbrough Center in Auburn, Ala.
