WINDERMERE, Fla. – The No. 16 Auburn men's golf team rounded out its participation in the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational with an eighth-place finish Tuesday afternoon. The Tigers shot 4-over (292-288-288--868) for the three-day tournament at Isleworth Country Club.
Jovan Rebula led the way for Auburn as he tied for 11th at 3-under (71-70-72--213). After shooting 3-over on the front nine, the senior rattled off four birdies on the final five holes to complete his third tour of the par-72 course.
Graysen Huff finished in a tie for 18th at 1-over (74-68-75--217). The senior once again paced the Tigers with 13 pars in his final round to go along with a birdie on both the front and back nine.
The lowest card of the day belonged to Andrew Kozan who fired the second-lowest round of his career with a 5-under 67. Kozan started hot as he strung together three birdies on his first four holes. After a clean front nine, he was able to fend off two bogeys by securing four birdies on the final nine holes. The junior finished in a tie for 22nd at 2-over (75-76-67--218).
Brandon Mancheno and Alex Vogelsong completed the lineup for Auburn and finished in a tie for 43rd and 60th, respectively. Mancheno shot 6-over (72-75-75--222), while Vogelsong was at 10-over (77-75-74--226).
UCF won the event on its home course at 22-under (842), followed by LSU (858), Vanderbilt (863), No. 2 Texas Tech (864) and Cal (865).
The Tigers close out their fall slate Nov. 3-5 at the Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point Country Club on Kiawah Island, S.C.
