Tigers welcomes Tennessee for Sunday tilt

AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn volleyball team welcomes the Tennessee Lady Volunteers to Auburn Arena Sunday afternoon. First serve is set for 1:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.

"We just have to clean some things up defensively," head coach Rick Nold said. "Tennessee has a really good team. We're going to have make sure that we're just playing our best volleyball."

PROMOTIONS
It is the annual "Dig Pink" match at Auburn Arena! The first 300 fans will receive a pink Auburn Volleyball t-shirt and the Joy to Life Foundation will be in attendance to accept donations.

Kid's Zone will be set up with a coloring station, Connect Four and Giant Jenga. In addition, pink shakers will be available at the promotions table while supplies last.

QUICK HITS
- Auburn (6-8, 0-3 SEC) dropped a tightly-contested match to Alabama, 3-1, Wednesday night in Auburn Arena.
- Junior setter Morgan Kull finished with a career-high in both assist and digs with 43 and 11, respectively.
- Sophomore Tatum Shipes led all student-athletes with 17 kills, setting a season high.
-Defensively, junior libero Payton White put together another 20-dig performance, having 20 on the night.

SCOUTING TENNESSEE
- The Tennessee Lady Vols come in at 7-6 (1-2 SEC) on the year. UT battled in a pair of five-set matches to open conference play last week, falling at Ole Miss before returning home to defeat Texas A&M.

- The Lady Vols are coming off a 3-1 loss at Georgia Friday.
- Sophomore Ava Bell ranks second in the SEC in hitting percentage with a .419 clip. She is one of just four student-athletes above the .400 mark.
- Senior Tessa Grubbs sits second in the league with 215 kills (4.13 k/s) on the season.
- Madison Coulter, a junior libero, is currently fourth in the conference with 216 digs (4.15 d/s) on the season.
