AUBURN, Ala. – Two top prospects will join the Auburn women's tennis team, head coach Caroline Lilley announced today.

The Tigers will welcome Adeline Flach (Alpharetta, Ga.) and Anne Knüttel(Fuchsstadt, Germany) to the Auburn Family as Lilley's first recruiting class as the Tigers' head coach.

Knuttel will enroll at Auburn in January and join the team for the spring dual season. Flach will join the Tigers next fall.

ADELINE FLACH
Hometown:
Alpharetta, Ga.

Highlights: Ranked No. 52 in the class of 2020 and a five-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net … Attends Rivers Academy … Gained valuable international experience competing on the European ITF circuit for a year.

Coached by Edina Gallovits-Hall, who attained a WTA ranking as high as 54 … Her father, Doug Flach, was an All-American at Tennessee and competed professionally on the ATP tour, earning a top ranking of 108 in singles and 50 in doubles.

Highlights: Holds an ITF world singles ranking of 865 … ITF junior ranking of 322 … Was the German doubles champion in 2016 and 2018 and the runner-up in 2017 … German Championships singles runner-up in 2016 … Helped Team Bavaria to German team title in 2016 … Ranked the No. 72 player in Germany … Is an accomplished organist, receiving her C-certificate in 2019.
