It's time to get to know the 2019-20 Auburn women's golf team. With the Tigers next tournament not until February, we will be sitting down with all eight members of this year's team over the course of the next two months and asking the hard-hitting questions you want to know.

Next up is Brooke Sansom, a sophomore from Pike Road, Alabama.

1. What is the biggest golf highlight of your career?

Sansom: My playoff putt last year at the NCAA Championship. That was absolutely insane. I remember seeing Elena (Hualde Zuniga) out of the corner of my eye and her telling me Mychael (O'Berry) made her putt and won her match. After that, I knew that I had to make my putt and I did. The fact that I was able to pull it off was so cool.

2. Do you have any pre-tournament superstitions?

Sansom: When we play the practice round, I always play with a Titleist 4 (ball). Then for the first round I play with a Titleist 1, second round a Titleist 2, third round a Titleist 3, and so on.

3. What is the best vacation you've ever been on?

Sansom: Our Cabo San Lucas trip last fall when we went as a team. That was my first time out of the country.

4. If you could trade places with any famous figure for a day, who would it be?

Sansom: Meryl Streep. She is a legend

5. Do you have any pets?

Sansom: I have six pets – five labs named Destin, Marley, May, Sophie, and Miramar. I also have a cat named Mamacita.

6. What is your favorite place to eat in Auburn?

Sansom: Taco Mama

7. If you're stranded on a deserted island, what three items do you put in your backpack?

Sansom: A bible, matches, and I'd try to fit one of my teammates in there, too.

8. If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?

Sansom: I would say telekinesis because of "Stranger Things." I want to be like Eleven from the show.

9. What does the Auburn Family mean to you?

Sansom: It means so much to me. I've wanted to go to school here since I was five years old. To be wearing the colors and have the ability to represent this school is truly a dream.
