Auburn baseball 2020 signing class: Bryson Ware

AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn baseball program added a talented junior college transfer as head coach Butch Thompson announced the addition of Bryson Ware Friday.

Ware is an infielder originally from Madison, Mississippi, and is a product of Pearl River Community College and Germantown High School.

"As soon as I stepped on campus at Auburn I knew it was the place for me," Ware said. "I instantly felt a connection with the coaches and with the team. I know Auburn will get me where I want to be not only as a baseball player, but also as a person."

Ware, who is entering his freshman season at Pearl River this spring, was recently rated by Perfect Game as the No. 11 junior college prospect in the country.  He was also named the No. 5 prospect in Division II baseball by the JBB.

As a senior at Germantown, Ware hit .477 with nine doubles, four triples, eight home runs and 26 RBI. The infielder drew 25 walks and struck out just seven times. He set the Germantown single-season records for runs (45), home runs, batting average and OPS (1.541) en route to being named First Team All-State by the Mississippi Coaches Association and the Clarion Ledger. Ware was also named a MHSAA 5A All-Star.
