Adeline Sabados has been active on campus the moment she arrived and is excited to contribute to the success of the Auburn gymnastics program this season. The Denver, Colo., product is ready to achieve her goals and help the squad achieve theirs in 2020.

Q: What made Auburn stand out in the recruiting process?
A: There's a lot that stood out. The Auburn Family was very apparent from the moment I stepped on campus. It was just the whole atmosphere. After leaving, I knew this is where I wanted to be. Obviously, the resources that gymnastics gives is incredible. Academically, it was a great fit for me.

Q: What are some of your goals?
A: Individually, I want to compete all-around for sure. That's my biggest goal for my first year. I want to contribute to the team as much as I can and just enjoy the process. I want to learn more about myself and more about others on the team. As a team, I think we have the capability of taking it all the way this year and I hope we can do that.

Q: What moments have stood out in your gymnastics career?
A: When I graduated and had to leave the gym I was at, it made me realize how much I loved them. I grew up in a very loving atmosphere and it was perfect. I knew it was great, but when I had to leave, I realized it was even greater. My greatest achievement would be that I made nationals every time I tried.

Q: What are some of your hobbies outside of gymnastics and school?
A: None, that's my life. I do like photography a lot. I watch Netflix. The Good Doctor was my last show. It was kind of fitting.

Q: Do you have any hidden talents?
A: I can touch my tongue to my nose very easily.

Q: If you're stranded on an island, what teammates would you bring?
A: I would take Morgan Leigh (Oldham); she's my roommate and we go everywhere together. I would take Derrian (Gobourne) because she just makes me laugh so hard. I just didn't think I could laugh as much as I do when I'm around her and it's just the greatest thing. I would probably take an upperclassman like Emma Slappey because she would look out for us and she would know what to do.

Q: What three items would you bring?
A: I'd bring a dog. I can't go anywhere without a dog. I'd bring my computer if there's WiFi. I'd bring my camera and I'd bring my mom.

Q: What's your favorite Auburn tradition?
A: I think rolling Toomer's Corner. It's so different and perfect. It fits Auburn.

Q: What message would you say to the Auburn Family?
A: I'd say be ready, because we're coming
