TUCSON, Ariz. – Second-seeded Auburn will look to continue its momentum from last week's SEC Tournament when it opens the Tucson Regional on Friday, May 17th at 8 p.m. CT against third-seeded Colorado State.

The game can be seen on ESPN or heard on the Auburn Sports Network.

Top-seeded Arizona and fourth-seeded Harvard, which will face off following the Tigers and Rams on Friday night, round out the regional. It marks the first time Auburn has participated in the Tucson Regional since advancing to the championship round of the 2006 Tucson Regional. Auburn has never faced Colorado State, but the Wildcats hold a 4-3 advantage while Harvard has a 2-1 edge over the Tigers.

"We are excited to be here and represent Auburn," said Auburn softball head coach Mickey Dean. "It looks like it'll be a good regional with a lot of good hitters. We had a good day of practice and look forward to getting started."

QUICK HITTERS:

- When Auburn plays Colorado State on Friday night, the Tigers will have appeared in their sixth straight NCAA Regional, which is the longest streak in school history after breaking a tie with 2008-12.

Kendall Veach enters the NCAA Regional one home run shy of tying Kasey Cooper's single-season home run record (21) set in 2016. With her next home run, Veach will become just the seventh player in program history to have hit 40 career home runs.

- Entering the Tucson Regional, Auburn is 30-0 this season when outhitting its opponent. The Tigers are 29-2 when allowing 0-2 runs this season and 25-7 when scoring first.
