AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn volleyball program is excited to add three highly experienced transfers in Jaeden Brown, Lauren Dorrell and Marissa Hines to its 2019 roster, head coach Rick Nold announced.

JAEDEN BROWN

Year: Junior

HIGHLIGHTS: Finished second in The American Conference with 146 blocks in 2018 … That mark ranked No. 32 nationally … Totaled 271 kills in 2018 and appeared in all 129 sets … Named the AAC Defensive Player of the Week (Sept. 10) … Had double-digit kills 13 times as a sophomore at USF … Led her high school team to back-to-back 8A State runner-up finishes.

NOLD ON BROWN: "We are excited to add someone with Jaeden's talent level to our roster. Blocking is one of the main areas where we have room to grow as a team and her production in this area will be a big benefit for our program this year."

NOLD ON DORRELL: "Lauren is a dynamic attacker and an exceptional blocker that will bring needed experience to both of our pin positions. We're looking forward to having someone with a strong familiarity to collegiate volleyball to the outside."

HIGHLIGHTS: Played in 73 sets in 2018 for Wyoming, dishing out 298 assists for the Cowgirls … Four-year letterwinner and four-time team captain at Olathe North … Two-time All-Sunflower League First Team … Kansas Gatorade Athlete of the Year nominee … Maxpreps Top 250 recruit … Mother and older sister both played volleyball collegiately.

NOLD ON HINES: "We're really excited to add a player of Marissa's caliber to our program. It's such an advantage to have previous college experience and we expect that to be a big boost with her heading into 2019."
