AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn soccer team has scheduled a make-up match at Old Dominion on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The make-up match comes after having a contest at Florida Gulf Coast canceled due to weather on Aug. 25. The Tigers and Eagles played the first half but went into an extended lightning delay at halftime before the match was ruled a 'no contest'.
The contest at Old Dominion (4-0-1) will mark the third all-time meeting between the Tigers and Monarchs. Auburn holds a 2-0-0 advantage in the series with a 3-0 win in Mt. Berry, Georgia, in 1994 and a 1-0 win in Auburn in 2015.
The Tigers (3-2-0) have won three of the last four contests, including a pair of shutout wins against Syracuse (2-0) and Troy (3-0) last week.
Auburn concludes its four-match homestand with a pair of contests this weekend, starting with a tilt against Southern Miss Friday at 6:30 p.m.
