Freshman Mary McDaniel felt like she was at home the first time she came to the Plains and hasn't looked back. The Fredericksburg, Va., product was another strong add to this year's freshman class and will provide depth to the Tiger lineup throughout her career.
Q: What is the best vacation you've ever been on?
A: I went to South Africa on a service trip and it was amazing.
Q: What is your favorite dessert?
A: Sweet Potato Cake
Q: If you could no longer ride a horse at your meets, what animal would you choose and why?
A: An elephant because then I would be higher up than everyone else.
Q: What is your go-to salad dressing?
A: Balsamic Vinaigrette
Q: What is your favorite Auburn sport other than equestrian?
A: Basketball
Q: What is your favorite fruit and your least favorite vegetable?
A: My favorite fruit would be watermelon and my least favorite vegetable is a beet.
Q: What is your favorite Auburn tradition?
A: My favorite Auburn tradition Tiger walk because I get to see all of my football friends walk and I get to cheer them on.
Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
A: I would be invisible so I could be places without people knowing I was there.
Q: Why did you choose Auburn for equestrian?
A: I chose Auburn because the atmosphere is so great here and the first time I walked on campus it felt like home.
Q: If you could ask your pet three questions, what would they be?
A: Do you like me? What is your favorite table food? And what do you want to do today?
Q: What is your major and what do you plan to do with it?
A: My major is pre-business and I am not sure what I want to do yet. I am thinking I want to do something in real estate but I am not sure.
Q: If you could say one thing to the Auburn Family what would it be?
A: This is an amazing place and everyone actually is a big family.
