AUBURN, Ala.—The Auburn track and field team will head to Clemson, S.C., Friday and Saturday to compete at the Bob Pollack Meet, the Tigers' third meet of the season. The two-day competition will feature a competitive field with action starting Friday at 12 p.m. ET and 11:30 a.m. ET on Saturday.
The meet will be held at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Complex on the Clemson campus. A total of 35 athletes are slated to compete for the Tigers.
"The biggest thing I'm looking forward to though this weekend is opportunity," head coach Ralph Spry said. "It's a really good facility. It's supposed to be a really nice, big track. This weekend I really expect things to start picking up."
The meet will feature competitors from nearly a dozen schools including Florida State, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and host Clemson. Auburn will look to continue to progress this weekend at the Bob Pollack invitational after a promising finish at the Vanderbilt Invitational with multiple personal bests.
"Things will really start to pick up this weekend at the Bob Pollack Meet moving on through to SECs," Spry said. "We'll really see where we are. This weekend will be a big tell for me as far as how we're actually progressing. This is a good facility against good, stiff competition as well."
Admission to the Bob Pollack meet is free. Live stats can be found online at: https://results.adkinstrak.com/meets/5001
