AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn softball seniors Tannon Snow and Alyssa Rivera racked up preseason praise after being named to Softball America's Top 100 College Players for the 2020 season. Snow checked in at No. 58 while Rivera earned a spot on the list at No. 81.

Starting all 60 contests at third base a season ago, Snow was key in Auburn's offensive success with a team-leading 48 RBI to her credit. Snow finished 10th in the Southeastern Conference with 15 home runs, while adding 10 doubles and a triple for a .651 slugging clip. The Chino Hills, Calif., native closed the season with a .320 average at the plate behind 55 total hits. Clutch in high-profile moments, Snow slugged 10 homers and drove in a team-leading 29 runs in contests against teams in the Top 75 of the RPI.

Snow enters her senior campaign ranked tied for 10th in program history with a .553 career slugging percentage.

Rivera enters her senior campaign after a summer of international experience with the Puerto Rican National Team. Rivera earned 60 starts in right field as a junior and closed the season ranked second on the squad with a .333 batting average. The Lake Eagle, Fla., native led the team in on-base percentage (.426) and stolen bases (18) a season ago. Rivera was strong in conference play last season with a team-leading 22 hits against SEC opponents. She was just one of four Auburn players to drive in double-digit runs in conference play.

One of the most consistent hitters to don the Orange and Blue, Rivera currently ranks tied for 10th in career batting average with a .327 mark.

Auburn opens the 2020 season on Friday, Feb. 7 in Clearwater, Fla., against Baylor at 11 a.m. CT as part of the 2020 NFCA Leadoff Classic.
