AUBURN, Ala.—The Auburn Track and Field team heads on the road again this weekend to Fayetteville, Ark., for its biggest test of the 2020 indoor season at the Razorback Invitational on Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1.
The meet will feature a competitive field of six men's teams and seven women's teams ranked in the top 25. Auburn will have 14 men and 19 women competing.
"It's going to be a locked and loaded meet," head coach Ralph Spry said. "It's going to be another big test for us."
Events on Friday will begin at 12 p.m. CT with featured events beginning at 6 p.m. CT. Saturday's action will run from 1-4 p.m. SEC Network+ will air action on Friday beginning at 6 p.m. and 12 p.m. Saturday.
"We've got a ton of kids who are capable hitting the national level mark," Spry said. "What I mean by the national-level mark is, top 15 and top 25 mark. When you're putting those marks together that means you're trending in the right direction, so I'm really looking for upperclassmen leadership which I think we've had so far."
The meet will be held at the Randal Tyson Track Center at the University of Arkansas' campus.
"This is one of the premiere facilities," Spry said. "The good thing about it is, not only is it a great facility to compete on, they have a good warm-up space which is critical."
