AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team is ranked No. 20 in the national rankings per RoadtoNationals.com. The weekly rankings are based on the team's average in overall score over the last six meets.
Auburn takes to the road this weekend for another Top 20 match up, traveling to No. 14 Arkansas. The Tigers and the Razorbacks will face off at 6:30 p.m. CT in Barnhill Arena Friday, Feb. 21.
This week's Top 5 remain the same with Oklahoma and Florida in the top two slots. Utah and UCLA are tied for third and Denver stands in the fifth spot.
The Tigers remain No. 12 on vault this week with a 49.096 average. The squad also remains at No. 17 on bars at 49.018 and moved to No. 19 on beam with a 48.932 average.
Sophomore Derrian Gobourne remains in the Top 25 nationally on vault with a 9.868 average. Junior Drew Watson is tied for 34th on vault at 9.850 and senior Gracie Day is among the Top 50 on bars at 9.843.
