AUBURN, Ala. – With home contests on campus for baseball, women's basketball, men's basketball, soccer and the 2020 SEC Swimming & Diving Championships this week, along with several other events, parking and traffic on the Auburn University campus will be affected.
Below is information about traffic and parking for the week of Feb. 17-22:
General Information for campus and event attendees
Biggio Drive from Samford Avenue to Coliseum Drive, including the Old Track, will be closed Tuesday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for SEC Swimming & Diving Championship parking. Biggio Drive will open for a brief period Saturday afternoon for men's basketball post-game traffic egress.
Streets throughout Downtown Auburn will be closed Saturday at 2 p.m. for the fourth annual Krewe de Tigris Mardi Gras Parade. All streets will re-open after the parade with the exception of Magnolia Avenue between College Street and Gay Street, which will remain closed until 5 p.m. Please note, any cars parked along the parade route and not removed by 2 p.m. will be blocked until the parade is over.
SEC Swimming & Diving Championships
Tuesday-Saturday (events run approximately 9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. each day)
Spectators attending the morning sessions Tuesday-Friday should park in the VCOM Building Lot (910 South Donahue Drive). A complimentary shuttle for spectators attending the morning session will run from the VCOM Building Lot from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday only.
Spectators attending the night sessions and all sessions Saturday are encouraged to park in the Coliseum Lot, the Athletics Complex Parking Deck and parking spaces south of Samford Avenue along Biggio Drive.
Baseball
Wednesday vs. Oakland – 5 p.m.
Friday vs. UCF – 3 p.m.
Saturday vs. UCF – 2 p.m.
Sunday vs. UCF – 1 p.m.
Fans attending the Auburn baseball games Wednesday, Friday and Sunday are encouraged to park in the Arena Lot, the Stadium Parking Deck off Heisman Drive, the Athletics Complex Parking Deck and the parking lots inside AG Heritage Park. The Coliseum Lot will be available for baseball parking Sunday.
The Arena Lot and top two levels of the Stadium Parking Deck will be permit parking only Saturday until one hour after the completion of the men's basketball game vs. Tennessee. The Athletics Complex Parking Deck, the Campus Safety Lot off Wire Road and Donahue Drive, and the parking lots inside AG Heritage Park are available for public parking Saturday.
Women's Basketball
Thursday vs. Mississippi State – 8 p.m.
Reserved parking is available in the Auburn Arena Parking Lot on a first-come, first-served basis beginning two hours prior to game time (6 p.m.) for ticket holders with a valid ticket to that night's women's basketball game and individuals possessing a women's basketball game credential.
Fans are also encouraged to park in the Campus Safety Lot off Wire Road and Donahue Drive. Parking is also available in the CDV Lot and Lowder Lot.
Men's Basketball
Saturday vs. Tennessee – 11 a.m.
Parking in the Arena Lot, Levels 3 & 4 of the Stadium Deck, and the CDV Extension (ADA) are by permit only.
Tiger Transit shuttles will run from the Stadium Parking Deck and the Facilities Management Lot (1161 West Samford Avenue) to the Auburn Arena Scholarship Entrance beginning at 9 a.m. An ADA shuttle will run from CDV Extension.
Fans are encouraged to park in the Campus Safety Lot off of Wire Road and Donahue Drive. Parking is also available in the Lowder Lot and lots on West Thach Avenue.
Post-game traffic procedures remain in effect for Saturday's men's basketball game.
Spring Soccer
Saturday vs. Troy – Noon
Parking is available in the McWhorter Lot and the Home Plate Lot at the softball facility.
Other Campus Events
Wheelchair Basketball Tournament (at Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum)
Saturday: 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Parking for the wheelchair basketball tournament is available in the Coliseum Lot on a first-come, first-served basis.
USTA Tennis On Campus Tournament (Auburn University Intramural Courts)
Friday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sunday: TBA
Parking for the USTA Tennis On Campus Tournament matches played at the intramural courts is available in the West Thach Lot and the north part of the CDV Lot off Wire Road.
