AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn soccer and head coach Karen Hoppa announced the addition of goalkeeper Maddie Prohaska to the Tigers 2020 class Monday afternoon.

Prohaska signs with Auburn as a native of West Chester, Ohio. The four-star recruit will enter her first season on the Plains after playing for Lakota West High School as well as Cincinnati DA on the club level.

"Maddie's a very experienced goalkeeper from Cincinnati DA," Hoppa said. "She's a great shot-stopper, she's tremendous with her feet, and we're really excited to have her join our goalkeeper unit."

During her three years with Cincinnati DA, Prohaska played in 98 games, starting in nearly 90 percent of them. She was also invited to the U.S. Soccer U14 National Camp in 2015.

A First Team All-Conference selection in her lone season at Lakota West, Prohaska started 19 of 24 games and helped lead the team to a 22-0-2 record. Prohaska turned in eight shutout and 76 saves en route to an OHSAA State Championship.

Along with soccer, Prohaska also earned a varsity letter in basketball.
