AUBURN, Ala. – Fourteen Tigers on the No. 1 Auburn equestrian team were recognized by National Collegiate Equestrian Association for their efforts in the classroom, the NCEA announced Tuesday.

Juniors Terri-June Granger, Taylor Searles and Taylor St. Jacques along with sophomores Emma Kurtz and Meghan Knapic were placed on the Farnam All-Academic First Team. Recipients must have compete in a minimum of 70 percent of the school's meets, not including demo or exhibition rides. They also must have earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the preview spring and fall semesters.

The recognition is the second for both Granger and Searles, while the other three earned the first team honor for the first time.

Ellie Becker, Emma Crosbie, Granger, Peyton Hall, Haylee Jerkins, Knapic, Kurtz, Haley Pembroke, Searles, Anna Claire Smith, St. Jacques, Helen Ulrich, Lillian Wagner and Caroline Walker represented Auburn on the APHA Academic Honor Roll. The top academic student athletes who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters respectively, earn a spot on the list.

The Tigers concluded the 2019-20 season with a 13-0 record, marking the second-straight undefeated season for the program.
