AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn swimming and diving team had 19 All-Americans selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of American (CSCAA) on Wednesday. The group consisted of 11 from the women's side, eight from the men's side, and there was a total of 39 All-American honors combined between the two.
Due to the cancellation of the NCAA S&D Championships, the CSCAA Board adjusted the selection criteria for this year's All-American teams. Those recognized were either individuals who qualified individually for this year's NCAA Championships or any member of a relay team that achieved NCAA A-cut time standards.
Seniors Claire Fisch and Julie Meynen led the way for Auburn with five All-American honors each. The duo earned two individual and three relay accolades. Senior Robyn Clevenger and freshman Abbey Webb received three honors each – one individual and two relays.
On the men's side senior Santiago Grassi was named an All-American in two individual events and one relay, making it three total. It's the third straight year he's been recognized as an All-American.
Auburn also had two divers make this year's CSCAA All-American Team with Alison Maillard and Conner Pruitt both receiving three AA honors (1-meter, 3-meter, platform) apiece.
