It's time for another Q&A Friday with Auburn women's basketball! Today we check in with the first of our two redshirt sophomores, Jala Jordan! Jala transferred to Auburn from West Virginia after her freshman year and played in our three exhibition games in Italy last August before redshirting the 2019-20 season.

What is your favorite thing about Auburn?

My favorite thing about Auburn are the sports and the fans/culture surrounding our program.

What are your goals for the upcoming season?

I want to win a national championship, and be first-team all-SEC.

What advice would you give to any young athletes wanting to play college basketball?

Choose the best school that is right for you, don't rush your decision.

What is one of the biggest challenges of being a college athlete, and what do you do to overcome this challenge?

The biggest challenge is juggling school and basketball, and learning how to use my time wisely.

What is your biggest takeaway from your redshirt season, and how do you think it will help you moving forward?

My biggest takeaway from my redshirt season was that I need to work hard for everything I want. My team will need me, and I need to be the right leader for them.
