Emily Carosone is one of the most prolific softball players in Auburn history. She is Tigers' all-time leader in career batting average, hits, runs, on-base percentage and hit by pitches. She also ranks in the top three in the Auburn's record books in RBI, doubles, home runs, slugging percentage and games started. After serving as a volunteer assistant, Carosone was named as fulltime assistant, at her alma mater, by head coach Mickey Dean. By the way, her playing days are not yet complete. She will suit up for Team Italy in the Tokyo Summer Olympics, next year.
