Twelve Tigers earn WCGA Scholastic All-America honors

AUBURN, Ala. – Twelve student-athletes on the Auburn gymnastics team earned Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America honors for the 2019-20 school year, the organization announced Tuesday.

Auburn's 12 Scholastic All-Americans is the most under head coach Jeff Graba as well as the most by any team in program history. The 2018 and 2009 squads each had 10 previously.

Tigers earning academic recognition include Katie Becker, Aria Brusch, Molly Frack, Kendal Moss, Morgan Leigh Oldham, Elise Panzner, Adeline Sabados, Emma Slappey, Ashley Smith, Cassie Stevens, Anna Sumner and Sydney Wrighte.

Becker and Moss finished their careers as four-time honorees. Slappey and Smith each picked up their third recognition, while Wrighte earned her second-straight honor.

Six of Auburn's true freshmen from the 2020 season also made the list in Brusch, Oldham, Panzner, Sabados, Stevens and Sumner.
