AUBURN, Ala. – Following the new start dates and formats established by the Southeastern Conference, the Auburn men's golf team has announced its fall schedule for the 2020-21 season.
The Tigers are set to compete in three events that feature a majority of conference foes and non-conference teams from Auburn's geographic region.
"We are thankful and grateful to the SEC and our administration, as well as the presidents and chancellors from around the league to give us the opportunity to play," head coach Nick Clinard said. "I know our guys are extremely excited to go out and compete in the best conference in the country."
The Tigers tee off the season on national television at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, Oct. 5-7. The event, set to take place at Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Ark., features all 14 of the SEC's men's and women's teams and will be broadcast live on Golf Channel from 3:30-6:30 p.m. CT during each day.
Auburn then shifts gears to the Vanderbilt Legends Collegiate, Oct. 25-27. The newly-created tournament takes place at Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn.
The Tigers wrap up the fall tournament slate with the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate, Nov. 9-10. The annual event will take place at Old Overton Club in Vestavia Hills, Ala. Auburn has recorded top-three finishes for the last five installments, including a team title in 2016.
