KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Coming off a pair of dramatic wins last week, the Auburn soccer team has been ranked No. 14 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's Ranking released Tuesday.

With a 2-0-1 record, Auburn is the last unbeaten team remaining in the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers are one of five ranked SEC teams and are joined in the poll by No. 7 Arkansas, No. 9 Texas A&M, No. 11 South Carolina and No. 15 Georgia.

Following a 25-day hiatus since its season opener vs. Mississippi State, Auburn started its week with a thrilling 1-0 win against Ole Miss last Tuesday. The Tigers scored a golden goal off a corner kick with three season remaining in double overtime, marking the latest goal scored in program history.

On its first road trip of the 2020 season, Auburn handed Georgia its first loss the year. The Tigers capitalized on a penalty kick and held the Bulldogs scoreless despite playing the final 35 minutes a man down.

Auburn returns to action next Saturday, Oct. 24, hosting Kentucky (0-3-2) at 6 p.m. CT at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
