Auburn's Tyler Stice and Jackson Ross were the doubles champions of the Tiger Fall Invitational, which concluded Sunday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
Stice and Ross went 3-0 in doubles action over the weekend. The tandem posted wins over Josh Goodger and Andy Andrade of Florida (8-4), over Macsen Sisam and Marcus Ferriera of Vanderbilt (9-7) and over Riccardo Roberto and Zhe Zhou of Alabama by an 8-4 score.
Sunday, Auburn picked up singles wins from Maxwell Giddens, who defeated Alabama's Marcelo Sepulveda Garza in here sets, 7-6 (4), 5-7, 6-2, and from Finn Murgett, who topped Alexey Nesterov of Alabama by a 7-6 (2), 6-1 score.
Florida's Sam Riffice was the singles champion. Participants in the weekend event were from SEC schools Vanderbilt, Florida, Alabama and Ole Miss, along with host Auburn.
The Tigers will be back in action October 16-18 at the Vanderbilt Invitational in Nashville, Tenn.
