FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – It was another solid performance for the Auburn women at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday as the Tigers finished at 300 (+12) for the second consecutive day and currently sit in seventh place, three shots out of fourth, heading into the third and final round.

"It was a day similar to Round 1," head coach Melissa Luellen said. "We made a few more putts today but a little more trouble, too. It is helpful to see all five play at the same time to be able to watch every shot while in competition. This is rare for a coach. I am proud of the team as they are fighting for every shot. We're saving the best day for the last day."

Mychael O'Berry shot a team-best 73 (+1) in Tuesday's second round. The junior made three birdies and through the first two rounds, she's tied for third among all players with 23 pars made. She's in a tie for eighth overall and is the lone Auburn player in the top 10.

Fellow juniors Julie McCarthy and Kaleigh Telfer were not far off O'Berry's pace, shooting a 74 (+2) and 75 (+3) respectively. McCarthy, tied for 11th overall, finished with three birdies while Telfer led the team with four birdies in the second round. Telfer, a WGCA All-American from last year, is in a tie for 14th on the player leaderboard.

Sophomore Brooke Sansom started strong Tuesday with three birdies on the front nine. She finished with a 78 (+6) for the second day in a row and is tied for 42nd individually.

Freshman Ashley-Sinclair Curtis matched her score from the first round (88), but the highlight of her day came on No. 15 where she made her first birdie as an Auburn Tiger. She later added a second birdie on the third hole.

On the women's side, Arkansas remained in front at even-par (576) through two rounds. After that, it's LSU (586), followed by South Carolina (592), Ole Miss (597), Georgia (598), Florida (599), Auburn (600), Kentucky (606), Tennessee (610), Vanderbilt (612), Alabama (616), Texas A&M (619), Mississippi State (625) and Missouri (647).

Auburn will wrap up play Wednesday, teeing off at 7:45 a.m. CT from the first hole. Golf Channel will provide live coverage of the third round from 2:30-6:30 p.m. CT, and live scoring can also be found on Golfstat.com
