AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn women's golf team, fresh off a team win at the Liz Murphey Fall Collegiate Classic, added three new players this week in the 2021 signing class.

"I am extremely excited about this signing class," Auburn head coach Melissa Luellen said. "To have three players – one local, one from out of state and one international – is a wonderful balance I like to maintain. But the most balance I like to have is talent, and these three all possess that."

The local product is Morgan Jones, a senior at Auburn High School and a First Team All-State selection. Over the summer, she finished seventh in the Alabama Women's Stroke Play Championship and ninth in the Alabama Girls State Junior Championship.

Casey Weidenfeld signed with the Tigers as the top player in the state of Florida. Weidenfeld is ranked the No. 4 player for the Class of 2021 per Junior Golf Scoreboard and was a 2020 Rolex Junior All-American selection. In September, she won the AJGA Girls Championship by nine strokes and shot a tournament-record 64 (-8) in the final round.

The international player in Auburn's 2021 class is Carys Worby, the 2019 Girls Order of Merit winner in Wales. Worby won the Welsh Girls' title in 2018 and finished third at the English Girls Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship this summer.

It's the second straight year Luellen and the Tigers have signed an international player.
