AUBURN, Ala. – No. 15 Auburn soccer (3-1-2) caps off its fall home slate with a rivalry matchup against Alabama (1-4-2) Friday at 6 p.m. CT at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
The game will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
STARTING XI
Auburn clinched a first-round bye in the SEC Tournament with Monday's 1-0 overtime win at LSU, marking the team's first bye in the tournament since 2016.
The Tigers are 18-8-2 all-time in the Iron Bowl of Soccer and have earned a result in 17 of the last 20 meetings (16-3-1) dating back to 2000.
Auburn was riding a seven-game winning streak against the Crimson Tide before falling, 2-1 (OT) at the SEC Tournament last season.
Six of the last 10 meetings have gone to overtime and nine of those matchups have been decided by one goal.
Redshirt junior forward Kori Locksley scored the golden goal in the 93rd minute of the contest at LSU, marking her first goal of the season and second game-winner of her career.
The overtime thriller at LSU marked Auburn's fourth overtime contest of the season (2-0-2). The previous three had been decided in double overtime.
Monday's win also marked the 300th victory in program history.
The Tigers continue to lead the SEC in goals against average (0.60) and are tied for the conference lead with three shutouts.
Freshman goalkeeper Maddie Prohaska returned in net last week and also continues to lead the SEC in goals against average (0.59) and save percentage (0.900). She is also tied for the league lead with two solo shutouts this season.
Auburn enters the weekend in fifth place in the SEC standings. If the standings remain the same, the Tigers would play the winner of Florida and Kentucky in the second round of the SEC Tournament Sunday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
SCOUTING ALABAMA
Alabama enters the weekend with a 1-4-2 record and currently sits in 11th place in the SEC standings.
The Crimson Tide have totaled nine goals through seven contests this season but have conceded 13.
Three Alabama players in Carly Wyatt, Riley Mattingly and Serena Pham lead the team with a pair of goals this season.

Capacity at the Auburn Soccer Complex will be reduced to an Auburn team pass list, visiting team pass list and a limited number of Auburn students. The general public will not be admitted.
Face coverings will be required for all spectators and gameday workers. Fans will be asked to sit and remain in the designated orange chair backs and practice one-way traffic flow designated by stadium signage.
Tailgating outside of the complex will be prohibited. Additionally, congregating along the fence inside the complex will not be allowed.
The portable AU Team Shop will be on-site offering officially licensed Auburn apparel. In addition, a limited selection of bottled drinks and prepackaged food will be available for purchase at the concession stand. All transactions must be cashless.
