Tad Maclean and Finn Murgett continued their winning ways in doubles for Auburn men's tennis Saturday against Ole Miss at the 53rd Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Ga.
The British duo posted an 8-2 victory over Ole Miss' Brady Draheim and Jan Soren Hain to remina undefeated for the weekend.
Murgett followed up with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Soren Hain in singles, and Tyler Stice was a 6-4, 7-5 victor over Simon Junk of Ole Miss.
The Tigers added a pair of three-set victories to their ledger as well. Spencer Gray posted a 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 triumph against Cotter Wilson of Ole Miss, and Tim Dollman, facing Brian Berdusco of Florida, prevailed in a close-fought match by a 7-6, 5-7, 7-5 score.
The Tigers will face host Georgia on Sunday morning. Spectator attendance will be limited to guests of the respective team members via pass list. Approved fans on the pass list should remain socially distant throughout the stadium.
