AUBURN, Ala. – The next 2021 signee Auburn baseball will announce is right-handed pitcher Ben Bosse.
 
Bosse is a native of Brenham, Texas, and is a product of Brenham High School. He is rated by Prep Baseball Report as the No. 78 player in the country, including the No. 9 player and No. 4 right hander in Texas. Bosse is also rated a top 300 player nationally and the No. 9 right hander in Texas by Perfect Game. 
 
"I chose to sign with Auburn because it felt like home," Bosse said. "While I was on campus for the first time, I was introduced to the Auburn Family. I decided this would be the group of coaches that I wanted to be influenced by and compete for. I believe they will develop my teammates and I to be better baseball players while also developing our character."

A standout at Brenham High, Bosse turned in a 1.15 ERA and registered 56 strikeouts in 48 innings en route to being named the 2019 Texas High School 5A District Newcomer of the Year. He also earned 2019 Texas Sophomore Sunbelt Team and First Team All-Brazos Valley honors. The right hander went 2-0 with a 2.70 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 10 innings during the shortened 2020 season.
 
Bosse, who has arguably one of the best breaking balls in the 2021 class, was named a 2020 Perfect Game Preseason First Team All-Texas Region. He also earned 2019 Perfect Game Preseason High Honorable Mention All-America honors. Bosse has also been named to the Texas Rangers Area Code Team in each of the last two seasons.
