AUBURN, Ala. – The newest member of Auburn baseball's 2021 signing class is in-state product Parker Carlson.
Carlson signs with the Tigers from nearby Mobile, Alabama, and is a product of Faith Academy. He is rated by Perfect Game as the No. 10 right-handed pitcher and No. 21 overall player in Alabama.
"The biggest factor in my decision to sign with Auburn was the coaching staff and they culture they are creating," Carlson said. "The experience on the pitching side of things with Coach Thompson and Coach Hudson is also second to none.
"While I was being recruited, Auburn stood out as one of the few schools where I could tell the coaches really cared about every player and considered them family," Carlson added. "I knew I would love to be a part of that."

A standout at Faith Academy, Carlson has registered a 2.72 ERA with 73 strikeouts in 63.0 innings pitched during the 2019-20 seasons. He has also excelled with the East Coast Sox and Baysox Baseball Academy, posting a 0.70 ERA in 21.0 innings during the previous two summer seasons.
Carlson has been named a 2019 Perfect Game Preseason High Honorable Mention All-American and was recognized as a 2020 Perfect Game Preseason All-Region honoree.
