Why Auburn?
"I chose Auburn because my head coach back home coached Bobby (Reynolds), my head coach here, so I already had that connection with him. I also always wanted to play at a big SEC school."
Your favorite part of campus life?
"My favorite part of campus life would be how close everything is on campus and how everyone is so welcoming. No one is giving you the cold shoulder and they all want to see you do well."
Favorite sports to attend at Auburn?
"Football and baseball are my favorite sports to attend."
Most unusual place you've heard War Eagle?
"Someone randomly said War Eagle to me in Oklahoma, which was probably the weirdest place."
What's your major?
"I'm a finance major"
How do you balance school and tennis?
"It's hard. There is definitely a learning curve but in my second year, it has been a lot easier. It comes down to just understanding when your time is to work and when it is time to chill."
What advice would you give to a young athlete looking to play in college?
"I would say above all it's not really about how talented you are, but about how hard you work. That's what the coaches want to see. As long as you work hard, you will be fine."
What's your hometown and what's it known for?
"I am from Roswell, Georgia. I would say the Roswell Mill is the best known; we have a mill where people go to hang out and swim."
Any other family members who play sports?
"My grandpa was a pro golfer and then won two national championships with Oklahoma for football."
How old were you when you started playing tennis?
"I started playing tennis at seven years old."
What is your best tennis skill?
"Probably my volleys are my best skill."
What sport would you play if not tennis?
"I would definitely play golf."
