AUBURN, Ala. – Looking to continue its momentum from the first tournament of the spring, the No. 13 Auburn men's golf team is set to travel to Baton Rouge, La. for the LSU Invitational, Feb. 26-28. The three-round event is set to take place at the par-72, 7,227-yard University Club.
The Tigers are set to field a lineup consisting of J.M. Butler, C.J. Easley, Graysen Huff, Andrew Kozan, Wells Padgett and Jovan Rebula.
Auburn is one of seven ranked teams in the 15-team field, including No. 2 Vanderbilt, No. 4 Tennessee, No. 6 Georgia, No. 17 Alabama, No. 19 Florida and No. 20 South Carolina.
The Tigers recently surged to a tie for second place at the Gator Invitational to open the spring slate. Auburn began the final day in a tie for seventh, but shot 20-under across the final 36 holes to rise five spots on the team leaderboard.
Kozan claimed co-medalist honors, the first of his career, and was named the SEC Golfer of the Week. Butler received freshman of the week honors as well after logging a 24th-place finish at 4-under.
The Tigers are paired with Georgia and Vanderbilt with tee times beginning at 10:10 a.m. CT off of the No. 1 tee box Friday morning. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com.
