AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 1 Auburn equestrian team extended its current winning streak to 39-straight meets with a 12-3 victory over rival and No. 3 Georgia Saturday at the Auburn University Equestrian Center.

The Tigers improved to 5-0 overall with all five wins coming in the Southeastern Conference. In addition, the win is the team's eighth-consecutive over Georgia.

"It was great to be back home competing in front of our fans," head coach Greg Williams said. "I can't talk more positively about this team than I already do. They are not only talented, but they are committed to all aspects of being student-athletes. They are committed to their nutrition, to their conditioning, to the classroom and to each other and the attitude they bring to practice every day is great. This team has a culture of winning and that extends beyond competition."

Auburn honored three members of its senior class at the end of the meet – Deanna Green, Ericka Koscinski and Taylor St. Jacques. Both Green and St. Jacques are defending NCEA and SEC Riders of the Year in their respective events, while Koscinski will graduate with multiple academic honors.

"These three are just amazing and it's been special watching them develop into leaders," Williams said. "They've all stepped into roles of leadership throughout their time here and they've become the people that the rest of the team goes to. We're so proud of them."
