Tigers complete second round of LSU Invitational

BATON ROUGE, La. – The No. 13 Auburn men's golf team completed its second round of the LSU Invitational Saturday afternoon. The Tigers shot a 7-over 295 at the par-72 University Club and is 11th overall at 22-over (303-295--598).

C.J. Easley led the way with a 3-under 69 and is tied for fifth at even-par (75-69--144). The sophomore tied for a team-high five birdies and added 12 pars in his second circuit.

Graysen Huff, who matched Easley's birdie total Saturday, fired an even-par 72 at it tied for 12th at 2-over (74-72--146).

Wells Padgett and Andrew Kozan are tied for 47th and 53rd, respectively. Padgett sits at 7-over (76-75--151) after tying for a team-best 12 pars in the second round, while Kozan sits at 8-over (80-72--152), which includes an even-par 72 in his second tour of the course.

J.M. Butler (76-77--153) and Jovan Rebula (77-76--153) are tied for 59th overall at 9-over.

Florida leads the field at 3-over (579), followed by Illinois (582), Vanderbilt (587), Arkansas State (587) and South Carolina (588).

The Tigers are paired with Georgia and Ole Miss for the second round Saturday, beginning at 10:10 a.m. CT off the No. 10 tee box. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com.
