Talking Tigers - Kim Evans & Michael Patterson

After a Hall of Fame coaching career, Kim Evans was looking for something to do.  She had battled through ovarian cancer and recovered.  While talking to Dr. Bobby Woodward about golf, they came on the idea of reaching out to military veterans on the Auburn University campus.  She would teach them how to play golf, giving them a game they could play for the rest of their lives.  Enter Michael Patterson.  The nine year Air Force vet was on the Auburn campus seeking a degree in economics.  He learned to play golf from Kim.  After graduating Patterson went to work in the Veteran's Resource Center, located in Foy Union.  He serves at the Veteran Programs & Services Specialist
