AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team kicks off the postseason at the 2021 Southeastern Conference Championship, competing afternoon session Saturday, March 20, in Huntsville, Ala., at the Von Braun Center. The Tigers are the sixth seed in the annual conference meet and action starts at 2:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

"We've been simulating the postseason rotations in practice this last week and are preparing for the speed of the meet," head coach Jeff Graba said. "We only have three athletes that have competed in the postseason before. We've been working on our mental game a lot and the key is to stay focused this Saturday. This meet goes really fast, and you have to come out of the gate strong. If we can stay focused, we should have a good score and leave Huntsville pleased with our performance."

The Tigers will compete in the afternoon session alongside fifth-seeded Kentucky and eighth-seeded Missouri. Auburn will start on bars and follow to beam, floor and vault. Seventh-seeded Georgia will miss the conference meet because of COVID issues within the program.
