AUBURN, Ala. – Behind its bounce-back Sunday sweep of No. 13 Florida State and Kennesaw State, Auburn softball (18-6) held on to its national rankings in two major polls for the fourth straight week.
 
Auburn dropped two spots to No. 24 in the latest USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Tigers also fell a couple spots to No. 25 in the latest ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25.
 
For the second straight week Oklahoma (22-0) earns the unanimous No. 1 rankings. The remainder of the top five in the NFCA Coaches poll remain relatively unchanged. Behind No. 2 UCLA, Oregon jumped one spot to No. 3 with No. 4 Alabama and No. 5 Florida rounding out the top spots.
 
Auburn will face a Top 25 opponent for the third consecutive week as Missouri checked in at No. 18 in the NFCA Coaches Poll. Rounding out the SEC rankings this week were No. 7 Kentucky, No. 13 LSU, No. 15 Arkansas, No. 17 Georgia, No. 21 Tennessee and No. 23 South Carolina. Ten of the 13 SEC softball programs boast a national ranking.
 
The NCAA also released its first PRI rankings of the 2021 season with the Tigers earning a No. 7 ranking in the initial report. Alabama, UCLA, LSU, Florida Boston University and Florida State rounded out the top six positions in the RPI.
