He became the first to win an Super Bowl ring and a Grey Cup ring in the same calendar year. Tim Jessie grew up in Opp, Alabama. He was part of Pat Dye's first recruiting class at Auburn. This class included Bo Jackson and Tommie Agee. Bo and Tommie are the godfathers for Tim's son, who is getting ready to play college football in Canada.
Jessie played on two Grey Cup championship teams for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He lives there and runs a boys and girls ranch for at risk children.
