St. Jacques named NCEA Fences Rider of the Year

AUBURN, Ala. – Senior Taylor St. Jacques of the Auburn equestrian team was named the National Collegiate Equestrian Association's Fences Rider of the Year, the organization announced Tuesday.
 
St. Jacques finished the 2020-21 season with a 9-0-0 mark in Fences, earning three Most Outstanding Performer honors in the event throughout the year. She reached a season-best 90 in October and averaged an 86.6 over the regular season.
 
The honor joins a long list of accolades won by the Glen Allen, Va., product this year. St. Jacques was also named the Southeastern Conference's Fences Rider of the Year and was a first team All-American in the event.  
 
In addition to her success in Fences, she also dominated in Flat this year, going undefeated with three MOPs. St. Jacques was also the SEC Flat Rider of the Year and picked up first team All-America honors.
