He was an All American 21 times at Auburn. Ryan Wochomurka was part of three NCAA Championships and four SEC titles. Now Wochomurka heads up his Alma mater's program. He was named the head coach at Auburn on April 23rd. Wochomurka came to the Plains from Houston where he served as the head women's coach. His task is to resurrect the same program he helped to build.
Wochomurka was part of seven conference titles as an assistant at Louisville. At Houston, he led the Cougars to five straight American Athletic Conference tiles. Wochomurka was the AAC Coach of the year four straight years. Now he follows in the footsteps of legendary coaches Eddie Reese, the late Richard Quick and his coach at Auburn, David Marsh.
