AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 15 Auburn men's golf team is set to begin its run for a national title when it takes part in the NCAA Stillwater Regional, May 17-19. The Tigers are part of a 13-team field in Stillwater, Okla. at Karsten Creek Golf Club.
Auburn comes in as the third seed in the regional and is one of nine top-50 teams at the par-72, 7,449-yard course, joining No. 4 and top-seeded Oklahoma State, No. 9 Illinois, No. 21 SMU, No. 30 Notre Dame, No. 35 Alabama, No. 39 Baylor No. 44 Ole Miss and No. 49 Sam Houston State.
The rest of the field is rounded out by Charleston, Little Rock, Middle Tennessee and Northwestern.
The top five teams and one individual from the regional will advance to the 2021 NCAA Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz., May 28-June 2.
The Tigers are one of four teams in the nation to have advanced to the last eight NCAA Championships, joining Illinois, Oklahoma and Texas.
J.M. Butler, Graysen Huff, Andrew Kozan, Jovan Rebula and Alex Vogelsong are set to tee off in the first round with C.J. Easley serving as an alternate.
Auburn is paired with Illinois and Oklahoma State off the No. 1 tee Monday morning beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.com.
